According to statistics released by the Chinese Customs, China's exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 104,039 tons in July, falling by 23% from a month earlier and decreasing by 38% year on year.
In the first seven months of this year, the country's imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 843,268 tons, falling by 19.4% year on year.
It's known that the Chinese stainless makers have faced difficult in exporting over the past few months in spite of the price cut.
Meanwhile, China imported 46,393 tons of stainless steel flat products in July, down by 13.2% year on year.
In the first seven months of this year, the county's imports of stainless steel flat products amounted to 330,686 tons, decreasing by 24% in comparison of that in the same period of a year ago.
